Chris Kee wrote Colville after learning about the Suicide Race in Omak, Washington (next to Colville) on a trip through Colville on our way to British Columbia.

Colville was originally recorded by Houston Jones, a six-piece band; Springhouse's version includes Chris on acoustic guitar, Jane on vocal, and David Phillips on pedal steel.

This track was recorded live at Blue Coast Records with Cookie Marenco - no overdubs, no headphones.
